Some folks at the Naval Postgraduate School have put together a live CD called Network OpCen On a Disk (NOOD). It contains things like OpenNMS, Ethereal, Wikipedia, etc.

You’ll need a 1GB or greater USB drive to run this, but that’s about all the detail I know. I put this up on the opennms-install list some time ago but I forgot one thing: the root password.
